2019 SCHEDULE

July 25 - August 3, 2019

Monday, July 15

  • All entry forms are due online before midnight (11:59 pm)

  • Any live animal needing to be entered after this deadline will be charged $50 per entry up to the close of set weigh-in time for that market animal species, the start time of the breeding livestock, or horse show being entered in. After notifying show superintendent, classes entered incorrectly may be switched within the same division prior to the start of livestock show, horse show, or static exhibit judging. Any static exhibit entered late will be charged $10 per entry up to the time the exhibit is due for judging. No classes will be held for late entries.

  • Health Inspections must be completed by 6 pm (Fair staff will collect them directly from Uinta County Vet Clinics)

July 21 - 24

  • Uinta County Fairgrounds will be locked down for Fair set-up. Re-opens at Noon on July 24.

Thursday, July 25

  • 7:30 am — 4H & FFA Horse Show - Arena 1 & 2

Friday, July 26

  • 7:30 am — 4H & FFA Horse Show - Arena 1 & 2

Saturday, July 27

  • 7:30 am — 4H & Open Class Miniature Horse Show - Arena 2

  • 9 - 11 am — Open Class & FFA Exhibits Accepted - Exhibit Hall

  • 7 pm — Evanston Rodeo Series / Jr. NFR Bull Qualifier - Arena 1

Monday, July 29

  • Free Entertainment throughout the day

  • 7:30 am — Open Horse Show - Arena 1 & 2

  • 7:30 - 10 am — 4H Interview Judging –Exhibit Hall *ENTER THROUGH BACK DOOR

  • 7:30 - 9 am — Fashion Revue Interview Judging – Free Stage Act Tent

  • 10:30 am — 4H & Open Class Dog Shows – Show Ring    

  • Noon - 1 pm — Open Class & FFA Exhibits Accepted – Exhibit Hall 

  • 1 pm — Open Class & FFA Exhibit Judging – Exhibit Hall  (CLOSED TO PUBLIC)

  • 6 pm — Catch-It-Calf Contest – Arena 1 

  • 7 pm — Jr. Rodeo – Arena 1 and 2

Tuesday, July 30

  • Free Entertainment throughout the day

  • TBA - 9 pm — Exhibit & Roderick Halls Open to the Public (WHEN READY)

  • 7:30 am — Livestock Weigh-ins (Swine/Sheep - Livestock Barn Scale, (see times on Species Page)

  • 8 am — Open Horse Show – Arena 1 & 2   

  • 10 am — Cat Show – Show Ring Bleachers 

  • 4 pm — Swine: Little Kids, Showmanship, Market, Pen of 3, Breeding- Show Ring   

  • 6 pm — Team Branding & Team Sorting – Arena 1

Wednesday, July 31

  • Free Entertainment throughout the day

  • 8 am — Goat: Showmanship, Market, Pen of 3 - Show Ring 

  • 9 am - 9 pm — Exhibit & Roderick Halls Open to the Public

  • 10 am — Poultry: Little Kids, Showmanship, Pen of 3, Other - Poultry Barn    

  • 1 pm — Sheep: Showmanship, Market, Pen of 3- Show Ring

  • 6 pm — Pig Wrestling/Calcutta – Arena 1

Thursday, August 1

  • Free Entertainment throughout the day

  • 9 am - 9 pm — Exhibit & Roderick Halls Open to the Public

  • 9 am — Beef: Showmanship, Market, Pen of 3 – Show Ring  

  • 1 pm — Cotton & Cream, Breeding, Cow/Calf – Show Ring & Cow/Calf Barn  

  • 3 pm — Homemade Ice Cream Contest – Free Stage Act Tent

  • 5:30 pm — Catch & Show Contest – Show Ring 

  • 7 pm — Truck & Tractor Pulls/ Pedal Tractor Pulls – Arena 1

Friday, August 2

  • Free Entertainment throughout the day

  • 8 am — Rabbit: Pen of 3, Little Kids, Showmanship, Other – Rabbit Barn

  • 9 am - 9 pm — Exhibit & Roderick Halls Open to the Public

  • 10 am — Kid’s Day Activities - Evanston FFA Chapter

  • 1 pm — Mandatory 4H State Fair Meeting – Show Ring Bleachers 

  • 3 pm — Stock Sale Buyer’s Appreciation Dinner – Free Stage Act Tent  

  • 5 pm — Jr. Livestock Sale – Sale Ring   

  • 9 - 11 pm — Dance – Blacktop by Fair Office

Saturday, August 3

  • Free Entertainment throughout the day

  • 8 am — Dairy Goat Showmanship & Breeding Sheep Showmanship – Show Ring

  • 9 am — Round Robin Showmanship – Show Ring 

  • 9 am - 2:30 pm — Exhibit & Roderick Halls Open to the Public

  • 10 am — Children’s Pet Show – Rabbit Barn

  • 10 am — Little Kids Goat/Sheep, Goat/Sheep Decorating, Sheep Lead, 

  • Breeding Goat Show –  Show Ring

  • 1 pm — Breeding Sheep – Show Ring

  • 3 - 4:30 pm — Release of Exhibits   

  • 6 pm — Arena Cross – Arena 1

Important Notices

  • NO animals will be allowed to unload at the fairgrounds without previously having a health inspection (dated no more than 30 days prior to fair) on file in the Fair office.

  • Any animal unloaded on the fairgrounds without meeting this requirement will be IMMEDIATELY dismissed from the grounds and DISQUALIFIED from participation.

  • Health inspections will be due at the fair office by July 15 at 5 PM. May be faxed, emailed, mailed, or delivered in person.

  • Required of EVERY animal brought on the grounds, including horses, beef, sheep, goats, swine, rabbits, poultry, dogs, cats, and pests for the children's pet show.
